i tried the above, but the connection shows a exclamation mark and before I got the warning Do not install this driver, it will not work. What have I done wrong?
Can anybody help?

Would have been searching for hours had I not found this website whilst trying to get my random/generic USB-Serial Controller D to work.

I too am very pleased I found this site.

I’d spent 5 hours trying to update my gps speed camera system.
